Casanu, a ewe Corsican cheese, is a mix between 2 ancestrals corsican know how - ewe cheese and chesnut beer. Produced from 100% Corsican ewe milk, the Casanu is daily washed with a mix of water and chestnut beer.
During its maturation, the cheese developps a subtil taste of chestnut (of course) and its rind becomes slightly orange. Casanu has recieved several awards during the larst 5 years! Don't forget to marry the casanu with a nutt bread. Enjoy
