PICODON PDO
Made from whole goat's milk, from the mountains of Ardèche and Drôme
Picodon is a name of Occitan origin, which means "to prick". In the past, the local farmers used to keep this cheese, which over time became pungent, hence its name. Made from whole goat's milk from the mountains of Ardèche and Drôme, Picodon has been protected by an PDO since 1983.
Its goaty smell, its taste combining sweet and salty give this cheese a tangy and perfectly delicious touch.
